Introduction to Astrology

Astrology can be used as a tool for self-development by providing information about the different planets and how they show up in our inner worlds. By getting in touch with these primal archetypes within ourselves, we can begin to deepen our connection to ourselves. This six week series of classes will introduce people to planetary symbols in the birth chart and guide attendees in identifying how these symbols are reflected in both their inner and outer worlds. The chart acts as a tool for self-knowledge that can ultimately deepen one’s relationship with themselves and illuminate a more meaningful life path. We’ll explore the seven visible planets and develop an understanding of how they manifest in our lives. Each class will explore a different symbol and does not require any prior knowledge of Astrology to attend. If you plan to attend, it's best to have your birth chart in hand. To create an accurate birth chart, you need the time, place and date of birth. You can use an online calculator or you can email your data to allison@allisonsimonastrology.com and she can draw up your chart and email it back to you.

A seeker from a young age, Allison considers herself to be on a mission to solve the mysteries of the universe. Never one to turn away from any question that begins with “Why,” she found a way to turn her obsession with asking questions into practical use with Evolutionary Astrology. At the root of evolutionary astrology is the soul’s journey and spiritual evolution over multiple lifetimes. As a symbolic system, it beautifully reflects the deeper meaning and purpose behind our experiences by focusing more on the questions than answers. Allison sees her role as your astrologer to guide you towards asking the “right” questions—the ones that can guide you towards engaging with life in a deeper, more meaningful way. Using evolutionary astrology as a tool, the ability to live a rich experience is limited only by the depth of our own self-knowledge. Allison has been certified by master Evolutionary astrologer Steven Forrest and she currently teaches a variety of courses at his school. She also holds certifications from Kepler College and has studied a variety of Astrological techniques and applications.
